Referring to periodontists in Philadelphia, PA
What the receiving practice needs from a referring dentist does not change by city, but it is the most common reason a case comes back:
- A current six-point periodontal chart
- Full-mouth or vertical bitewing radiographs
- Smoking status and glycaemic control where known, as both affect planning
- What non-surgical therapy has already been completed, and when
