A searchable index of dental practices and individual clinicians across the United States. Use it to identify a specialist to refer a case to, confirm where an office is and how to reach it, and open a secure referral from the provider’s profile.
Where these records come from
Entries are built from the CMS National Plan and Provider Enumeration System (NPPES), the public registry a U.S. provider must appear in to be issued an NPI. From it each listing carries the practice or clinician name, the NPI, the registered taxonomy that determines which specialty a provider is filed under, and the practice address and phone number as published there.
Where a practice has claimed its listing, the record also carries what that practice maintains itself: whether it is currently accepting referrals, languages spoken at the office, self-reported insurance participation, and office hours.
Inclusion here reflects registry data. It is not a recommendation, a ranking, or a credential check, and Google ratings shown on a card are reproduced as Google reports them. Confirm licensure and current privileges through your state board before sending a case.
Browse by specialty
Each specialty hub sets out the scope of the discipline, the procedures its specialists perform, and the metro pages built beneath it.
See all dental specialties. General and geriatric dentistry, implant restoration, and sedation have no hub of their own and are reached through the directory’s specialty filter.
Narrowing a search
- Free text across practice name, clinician name, and listed services.
- State, city, and ZIP code, with a radius around a ZIP when the nearest option matters more than the closest match on name.
- Registered specialty taxonomy, so a search for oral surgery does not return general practices that happen to mention extractions.
- Minimum Google rating, with the review count shown alongside it.
- Languages spoken and self-reported insurance participation.
- Self-reported open-today, emergency-care, and sedation flags.
- Accepting-referrals status, so a case is not sent to an office that has closed its book.
To start from a specialty and a location rather than a filter panel, use Find a Dentist — the same index, reached through a shorter form. Root canal and retreatment cases start at endodontics; third-molar extractions and implant placement at oral surgery; grafting and pocket-reduction cases at periodontics.
What a provider profile shows
- Practice address, phone number, and website where one is on file.
- Registered specialty taxonomy, with the primary specialty marked.
- Office hours and languages, on listings a practice has claimed.
- Google rating and review count, when Google publishes them for the location.
- A referral action, available once you are signed in to a practice account.
For dental practices
- Claim your listing to correct what appears and to keep hours and languages current.
- Receive referrals with the clinical detail attached, rather than as a fax cover sheet.
- Track each referral across the 20 statuses of the referral state machine, from draft through report returned.
- Message the referring office securely about a case in progress.
- Return a report so the referring dentist can close the loop on the patient record.
