He continually strives to improve his skills and the experience for patients by attending classes and conferences. Dr. Duke was raised in Lewiston, Idaho so he is familiar with the area and its unique challenges and opportunities. He completed his undergraduate degree at Utah State University in Logan, Utah where he received degrees in Cellular & Molecular Biology and Chemistry and Biochemistry . He then attended Case Western University in Cleveland Ohio, as a graduate student in Applied Anatomy. Dr. Duke applied his knowledge as the Course Director of Anatomy and Physiology at Walla Walla Community College in Clarkston, Washington. Although he loved teaching, he felt a draw to dentistry. He returned to Case School of Dental Medicine where he completed his Doctorate of Dental Medicine. Upon graduating, Dr. Duke returned to familiar surroundings and established Bitterroot Dental in the heart of the Bitterroot Mountains in Missoula, Montana.Dr. Duke's interests include traveling, photography, whitewater kayaking, mountain biking, rock climbing, skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing, and backpacking.
