At Pediatric Dental & Orthodontics, we will give your child a positive dental experience by providing excellent, up-to-date service, having a child-friendly environment, treating all with courtesy and respect, and educating children and parents.Dr. John R. Anderson grew up in Kaysville, Utah. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Creighton University. While there, he received many awards, including excellence in academic achievement and outstanding proficiency in dentistry for children. After the four years at Creighton, Dr. Anderson continued his dental education at the University of Nebraska, specializing in pediatrics, and received his pediatric certificate in 1999. After opening his practice in Farmington, Utah, Dr. Anderson completed the work necessary to become a Diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, meaning he is a board certified pediatric dentist. He and his wife, Carrie, have 5 children: Sadie, Ammon, Libby, Samuel, and Jacob. As a family they enjoy spending time together at Bear Lake and camping. Dr. Anderson is a major supporter of the Boy Scout program. He knows scouting helps all boys to learn skills that will benefit them for the rest of their lives. He has earned his Eagle and Silver Beaver awards. Dr. Anderson has a passion for helping children be the best they can be, and wants every child to have a healthy and beautiful smile.
